Everything is back up and running, as we gear up for another football season. We’ll have daily service plays, newsletters, and a whole lot more in the forum. Good luck.
One of the more interesting games on Sunday’s schedule is the WNBA contest between the Chicago Sky and the Seattle Storm. The visiting Sky are favored by 1.5 points and the total on the game is 166.
Chicago is just 3-7 on the road this season, while Seattle is 5-6 at home and the Storm tends to play better in front of the home fans, averaging more than four more points per game, while allowing the same number of points as they do on the road. Seattle is coming off a big home win against Washington and needs to defend home court to get things turned around this season.
Chicago is coming off an 84-77 win against Dallas and is just 6-12 this season after scoring 75 points and 3-8 against the Western Conference. Will nab Seattle as small home underdogs.
From a marketing standpoint, Tuesday’s WNBA game between Minnesota and Los Angeles is about as big as it gets. The Lynx bring a 12-0 record with them into LA, where they’ll face the 11-0 Sparks. Minnesota is off to a record 12-0 start to the season, while Los Angeles can tie the mark with a victory today. The teams meet again in Minnesota on Friday.
Los Angeles is favored by 3 and the total on the game is 162. While the teams have two of the best offenses in the league, they are also both extremely solid on the defensive end and have to think they play this game with playoff-type intensity, so will lean to the under 162.
